How this payroll page worksA plain-language guide to each tab. Nothing here changes your data.
Monthly
This is your main payroll view. Pick a month and it calculates pay for every employee from their clock-in/out records.
- Regular — hours worked inside normal times (weekdays 09:30–18:30).
- OT detected — overtime the app found automatically: weekday hours before 09:30 or after 18:30, plus all weekend hours.
- OT removed — a box you can type in. If some detected overtime wasn't agreed in advance, enter how many hours to take off. You can't remove more than was detected.
- OT paid — what's actually paid: detected minus removed, at the employee's multiplier (usually 2×).
- Unpaid hrs — for monthly-salary staff only: unpaid absence to deduct, at salary ÷ 160. Hourly staff show "—" because their absence already shows as unclocked time.
- Gross / Tax / Net pay — pay before tax, the income-tax deduction, and take-home.
- Employer cost — your total outlay: gross plus the employer pension you pay on top.
- ⚠ warning — a red triangle means that person has a day with a missing clock-out, counted as 0 hours, so their pay is likely too low. Fix it in the Records tab. Hover the triangle to see this reminder.
Export CSV saves the whole month as a spreadsheet.
Manual entries
For pay that isn't driven by clock records — someone who left mid-month, or a period with no punches. You enter the days or hours worked, any sick days, and unused leave, and it works out gross, tax and net the same way. These sit separately from the Monthly table so they never mix with the clock-based figures.
Settings
The pension and tax rates that drive every calculation. Your current setup is employee pension 0%, employer pension 4%, income tax 20%. Because the employee rate is 0%, nothing comes out of employees for pension — you cover it. Change a rate here and click Save rates; it applies to every calculation immediately.
Reminder: this is a working tool, not certified payroll software. The overtime removal is a manual review step — if you skip it, all detected overtime gets paid. And figures depend on the rates and records being correct, so verify against an accountant before real pay.
